This year, our Annual Sock Burning will be held at the Camp Wharf fire pit!!!
This is the fire pit at the intersection of District Pier and Wharf St.
Our Sock Burning Event is a private event, and the Camp Wharf area will be sectioned off with signs stating we are having a private event.

AND ... The Wharf is providing us with complimentary s'mores!!!! Yummy!!

Please note the following important items:
We must clean up after ourselves. At 9pm, the fire will be extinguished. Please help to leave the area cleaner than we found it (Girl Scout rules!)
We will have a few tables for us to place food and socks (thanks Elaine and Rick)
We can bring alcohol; however, we must drink discretely and responsibly. No alcohol bottles may be on public display. Alcohol containers must be stored in a cooler or other container. Please bring re-useable cups. Do not bring glass cups. Do not bring single-use plastics. This is a GREAT opportunity to use your POWYC mug! Be sure to write your name on the bottom of your mug.
No smoking is allowed in the Camp Wharf area.
The Wharf fire attendant will light, control, and extinguish the fire. Please don't mess around with the fire.
Remember to bring a sock to burn and new socks to donate.
