Port of Washington Yacht Club

Welcome to POWYC

Welcome to the official web site of the Port of Washington Yacht Club, an organization comprised of liveaboard and recreational boaters, Washington DC residents, and associate members from across the country.  POWYC's mission is simple: to promote clean river and boating safety initiatives amoung our many friends along the Potomac River, its tributaries, and the Chesapeake Bay.  We are proud to call the Southwest DC Waterfront home and hope you will take some time and explore our vibrant community.

Take a few moments and explore our web site.  Here you will find some great information about Washington DC, and how to enjoy yourself here.  If you'd like to coordinate a social or cruising event with us, please email powyc.events@gmail.com.  We'll get back to you quickly.
